Still, they seem to be doing just fine.

I hope they pull it off, I think Halo Wars might show the RTS community how to implement a good control mechanism for a console controller.

I didn't think it was a big enough of a game to warrant a midnight launch..

Weird.

Just give MS for a pat on the back for coming such a long way from the days of the original XBOX.

Nuff said.

Now, that IS a good thing.

But I think being a first party title, it'll be well supported, which is a great thing.

Microsoft needs to improve first party games on the 360 but every other corner, the PS3 is still flagging behind.

Like I said, it was a very basic example, I think the main issue might be with copying data from one array to another, not sure what the actual Cell assempler instructions are or if you need to use a special instruction when copying between the two pages.

I was trying (very poorly), trying to show how you might have an array of 512mb and trying to copy something like 400mb into it.. Not that you'd even want to.

Just a bad example. ;-/

char xbox[14];
char ps3[2][7];

strcpy(xbox,"This is text");

strncpy(ps3[0],"This is",7);
strcpy(ps3[1]," text");

It's a basic example, look it it. The ps3 has two lots of ram and 360 has one big block, it shouldn't make a HUGE difference, but it does make some difference..

Coders out there.. Yeah, it's a very basic example and not loaded with the same issues of a two blocks of ram architecture. I g...

a) It's an impressive service the in-game communications are awesome and the party support is fantastic, others need to sit up and learn.

b) Because DLC on xbox live sells, it's easy to use and the games are superb.

Glad the Halo3 is so well supported by bungie, plenty on there to keep me busy until this comes out..

A piece of crap with the boomerwank controller?

The supposedly more powerful PS3 will be overshadowed by the next 360 and Sony will be forced to eat their '10 year plan'. Haven't seen anything to demonstrate that the PS3 is any more powerful than the 360 and if you're referring to KZ2, ANY game that takes 4 years to develop AND is an exclusive I'd expect it to be perfection (which KZ2 isn't - see gamerankings.com)

The only difference between the 360 follow-up and the PS3 follow up is ofcourse..
COMPATIBILITY, I bet th...
